This toasting glass, with its twist stem design, is a reproduction of the type of drinking vessel used by the Jacobites in the the mid-1700’s. The glass is engraved with a clan crest and motto and is ideal for a dram of your favourite tipple.

The Jacobites were supporters of the exiled Stuart king, James VII and his descendants. James VII’s grandson, the Young Pretender, Charles Edward Stuart (more commonly known as Bonnie Prince Charlie) led the 1745 rising which culminated in defeat at the Battle of Culloden. After the defeat, Jacobites met clandestinely, toasting the 'Bonnie Prince', whilst paying homage to their fallen Clansmen.

Crests not listed can often be created for glassware. Origination fees of £50.00 apply. Contact us for details
