Tartan Material - Premier Heavy Weight

This 100% pure new wool material is recognised as Scotland's premier heavy weight kilting fabric. Extremely hard-wearing, the cloth will make a kilt which will last a lifetime.

This hard-wearing material is also very popular for covering chairs, sofas and creating home furnishings. Used widely for upholstering cars, autos and boat interiors. It's breathable, naturally fire-resistant, non-bobbling and anti-pilling.

Our double width (1.4 metres wide) Scottish tartans are sold by the metre in length. Size 1m x 1.4m (39 inches x 55.1 inches). If you order more than a metre of tartan fabric we will supply as a continuous length.

Weight 500/515gm per linear metre (16 oz per linear yard).
