Our beautifully proportioned Scottish Love Luckenbooth Silver Ring would make a perfect gift for a loved one. This centuries old romantic Scottish emblem takes the form of two intertwined Celtic hearts surmounted by a crown and looks absolutely stunning on the hand.

The design is said to have been created for the betrothal brooch of Mary Queen of Scots from the fourteen year old Dauphin of France, whom she married in 1558, hence the two hearts surmounted by the royal crown. The name derives from the “locked Booths” near St Giles in Edinburgh where the design was sold for romantic occasions such as engagements and weddings.

Made in the Western Isles of Scotland and hallmarked at the ancient assay office in Edinburgh. Available in a wide range of women’s and men’s sizes. The rings are supplied in a black ring box with the option of a luxury box for special occasions. Design size 2 cm x 1.5cm (0.8" x 0.6")
