The MacBean tartan sett includes red, dark green, sky blue, navy, black, and white. The modern version shown here is the primary design used by the family. Notably, it became the first tartan in space when astronaut Alan Bean took two pieces to the moon during the Apollo 12 mission in 1969. A heavyweight ancient variation is also available, though only in a limited selection of products.
