Our Gordon Highlanders wall crests are available in natural light coloured Scots Pine and in a darker finish. The wall shields are mounted on the Gordon tartan, a sett created here in Huntly, by William Forsyth.

Crests can be personalised with any name you require, enter details (e.g. Andrew Gordon) in the comments box when purchasing. If preferred, crests can also be left without personalisation, as pictured.

Alexander, 4th Duke of Gordon (The Cock o' the North), raised the Gordon fencibles in 1793 and the 92nd (Gordon Highlanders) Regiment of Foot in 1794. Recruiting is said to have been assisted by his wife, the Duchess Jean Gordon, who travelled around the North East's fairs and markets, placing the 'King's Shilling' between her lips so that every loon signing up got a kiss with it!

    Size: 18 cm x 20 cm (7" x 8").
