This impressive quaich takes its inspiration from the designs of the 17th and 18th centuries. Quaichs of this period were often made of wood and silver with an engraved silver disc in the centre which either had the owners initials or a Scots Gaelic motto like Sguab As'I which translates as sweep it off, or drink up!
This medium quaich is made from a rich dark rosewood which is intricately carved with a Celtic interlace pattern. The dark wood contrasts beautifully with sterling silver mounts on the rim and base. The silver disc in the centre of the quaich bowl is perfect for engraving. The quaich bears the clearly struck hallmarks of our silversmiths and also the highly regarded castle and lion rampant hallmarks from the Edinburgh Assay office, your guarantee of the very highest quality and purity. Crests and logo's are quoted on a case by case basis but a good guideline price is in the region of £60.00 inc VAT for the complete service.
