This impressive dirk is handmade in the Highlands by a single craftsman, using the finest natural materials. The Highland dirk features an authentic stag coronet handle, cocobolo hardwood trim and a high quality Damascus steel blade. We supply our dirk with the blade unsharpened. The blade will take an edge should you wish to have it sharpened yourself.
The red deer stag antler used on the handle is shed naturally each spring in the Scottish Highlands. Supplied with a heavy duty Celtic embossed leather scabbard.
Each hand-made dirk is unique due to the use of natural materials and may vary from the image shown.
Hand-crafted dirks of this quality at affordable prices are extremely rare in this day and age.
Please note that the Damascus blade should occasionally be treated with a small amount of Vaseline or light machine oil to prevent oxidation.
The Highland dirk also makes an impressive display piece in the home.
