Tartan Fabric - Lightweight

This light weight twill weave 100% pure new wool tartan fabric is woven in over four hundred and fifty tartans by Scotland's finest weavers. This weight of fabric is ideal for craft projects, displays and covering tables. The material is also used for making skirts, dancing kilts, light weight kilts for warmer climates, sashes, stoles, shawls, tartan curtains and soft furnishings for the home.

If your tartan is not listed, we can have it especially woven for you (minimum order 10-11 metres). Please contact us for prices and lead times.

Our double width (1.5 metres wide) Scottish tartans are sold by the metre in length. Size 1m x 1.5m (39 inches x 59 inches) Weight 355 gm per linear metre (10 oz per linear yard).
