Our tartan ribbon is custom made from authentic plain weave featherweight 8oz woollen tartan material.
Each ribbon strip is hemmed on both sides along the entire length which makes it considerably thicker than nylon ribbon and is therefore unsuitable for use on weddings invitations, menus etc.
Ideal for decorating wedding bouquets, tying around the pews at church weddings, flower arrangements and table decorations at Scottish weddings or to add a touch of tartan on any occasion. The ribbon strips are available in five hundred Clan, family, district, Canadian and Irish tartans.
Only sold in a set of five strips, each strip measures 137cm (54") long. Available in widths from 1" to 12", the wider sizes really show the tartan off to stunning effect.
The pattern on each piece will vary slightly as the strips are cut from different parts of the tartan bolt.
Please note that our ribbon will only match tartan items made in the same 8 oz plain weave featherweight fabric, all other products will vary in sett size and colouration.
