Tartan Evening Sash Pure Silk

This elegant pure silk tartan evening sash with hand knotted fringes looks stunning when worn at weddings, country dancing, Burns nights, tartan balls and special occasions. The sash is especially woven in a fine 100% pure spun silk on an old narrow sash loom and features extremely fine hand knotted fringes at both ends. Available in two sizes, 30cm x 228cm (12" x 90") and 30cm x 274cm (12" x 108"). If your preferred tartan is not listed please contact us as it may be possible to weave in rarer designs.

Please ensure that any order is placed well in advance of an upcoming event as each sash is individually woven and takes between 10 and 12 weeks to complete.

If buying to match with kilts please bear in mind that pure silk tartans are generally brighter in hue and have a smaller sett than many of the traditional woollen tartan fabrics.
