Our premium quality Clan crest shields are hand-crafted in Highland Perthshire from sustainably grown Scottish hardwood, and feature a hand painted Clansman's crest mounted on an authentic Scottish woven Clan tartan background. The Clansman’s shields are all based around a belt and buckle design, the central crest comes from the arms of the Clan Chief who is recognised by the Lord Lyon.
In this day and age, when many crest makers have switched to cheap veneered mdf, it's heartening to find craftsmen who still make their Clan crests in the traditional manner, using good quality Scottish hardwood.
