This is a nicely detailed badge/brooch in solid silver for the Clan lindsay.

The makers hallmark is M&C, INVSS, for Medlock and Craik of Inverness, renowned makers of Clan badges. Fully assay marked for Edinburgh 1952.

Features the Lindsay clan motto "Firmiter Maneo" and the crest, a tower proper ensigned with a crescent.
