Fleming Vintage Silver Clan Badge

This is a rare silver badge in solid silver for the Clan Fleming/Fleeming.

The badge/brooch, c.1950, is finely hand-pierced and hand-engraved. Marked Silver, Scotland with makers mark of JH for John Hart, a pioneer of Celtic revival jewellery.

Designed with the Fleming/Fleeming Clan motto, Sub Pondere Cresco (I increase under weight), the Fleming/Fleeming Crest, a palm tree, Proper.

Size 4cm x 4.5cm (1 1/2" x 1 3/4").

Weight 7 grams.
