The makers mark is M&C, INVSS, for Medlock and Craik of Inverness, one of the finest makers of Clan badges.

Assay marked for Edinburgh 1937.

Features the Hardie clan motto "Tout Hardi" (quite bold), and the crest, an arm, in armour, embowed, in hand a scimitar proper.

Would make a unique family piece to hand down through the generations.

Measures 1" in diameter.
