This is a stunning large solid silver badge for the Clan Galbraith. Fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1972 and in excellent condition. The makers mark is JF, for John Fraser of Inverness.
Designed with the Glabraith clan motto, Vigilio Et Spero, transalating as I Watch In Hope. The Galbraith crest, a lions head and neck, erased, proper.
Size 4.7cm x 5.5cm 1 13/16" x 2 1/4" Weight 24 grams.
